How Prerender.io scaled to 7-figures in ARR

Every entrepreneur has their own unique path. For some, the motivation to launch a company stems from a desire for more freedom and flexibility. For others, it's about the financial upside. Everyone is different. 

However, ask any successful entrepreneur and they will usually tell you the same thing: it wasn't easy. Growing a business is hard work. It's a challenging path full of setbacks. But that's also what makes it so rewarding. You can reflect back on the progress made and realize how far you've come.

Todd Hooper, the founder of Prerender.io, recently spoke with Starter Story about the inspiration behind starting his company. His goal was to solve a problem he faced as a Javascript developer: he couldn't get his websites to rank in Google search results. He knew that if it was something he had trouble with, it was likely others did as well. Todd was able to bootstrap Prerender.io to $2.5M in ARR before eventually selling the company to SaaS Group.
